Transformer is the second solo studio album by American recording artist Lou Reed. It was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson, and gave Reed mainstream attention. The album is an eclectic mix of ballads and rock songs, with some of the best songs of his long career. First and foremost his brilliant ballad Perfect Day, and rock radio friendly songs like the controversial Walk On The Wild Side, Vicious and Satellite Of Love, but also little gems like Make Up, and Goodnight Ladies.
