Asleep in the Back is the debut studio album by English alternative rock band Elbow. Their sound is an interesting blend of art rock and dream pop, often very melodious, with great singing by Guy Garvey. The album did well in the UK, where it went gold. My favourite songs would be Red, Powder Blue, Newborn, Don't Mix Your Drinks, Presuming Ed (Rest Easy), and Scattered Black and Whites.
