To Venus and Back (Venus: Orbiting) is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Tori Amos. It was released as part of a two-disc album set including a live album (Venus Live, Still Orbiting), but as I opted not to include live albums in my list, I had to add the extra description to the title. It is probably Tori's most experimental album, with extensive use of electronics and trip-hop characteristics. It is not fully successful in my opinion (in my opinion all 8+ minutes of Dātura could have been cut), but there is still plenty to enjoy here, especially Concertina, Lust, Suede, Josephine, and especially Spring Haze and 1000 Oceans.
