Desperado is the second studio album by the American band the Eagles. It is one of the best albums in the country rock genre, which they dominated throughout the seventies. The title song, although never released as a single, is one of their most famous creations, covered many times - and a personal favourite of mine. Tequila sunrise is outstanding as well. For the other songs, they confirm a slight bias I have in respect of their repertoire: I think they are among the best in ballad type songs, but less convincing in rockers - and fortunately there are far more of the former than the latter on this album.
