A Saucerful of Secrets is the second studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd. During recording, the mental health of singer and guitarist Syd Barrett declined, so David Gilmour was recruited to complement him; Barrett left before the album's completion. With all band members chipping in for the compositions, the sound is more varied than on their debut. Remember A Day, See-Saw and the brilliant Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun are outstanding tracks for me. While they were still looking for their sound, this transitional album is not yet at the level of their seventies' masterpieces, but it is still one of the pop/rock highlights of the sixties.
