Katy Lied is the fourth studio album by American rock band Steely Dan. It continues where the excellent predecessor Pretzel Logic left off - a solid album of melodious sophisticated pop/rock infused with jazz, well sung and well played. By now the band had been reduced to the two main members, Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, assisted by studio musicians. Some of my favourites are Bad Sneakers, Rose Darling, Doctor Wu, Your Gold Teeth II, and the swinging Chain Lightning.
