Country Life is the fourth album by the English rock band Roxy Music. The album is considered by many critics to be among the band's most sophisticated and consistent. I tend to agree with that - even though there are no really outstanding songs, the whole album leaves a great impression, and fully deserves its place in my list of favourites. If I had to pick one favourite, I'd go for
Bitter Sweet, rather than one of the three singles. Not surprisingly, the album cover was highly controversial, and banned in many countries.
