Autobahn is the fourth studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk. Although the band is now seen as ground breaking pioneer in electronic pop/rock with huge influence on later acts, in 1974 they were largely seen as a novelty act with a severely abridged version of this album's title song hitting the charts. In hindsight, this is an excellent album and the full 23 minutes version of Autobahn is a treat. The other four instrumentals are great as well. A collection of mesmerizing and hypnotizing soundscapes, and for me their best album.
