Red is the seventh studio album by English progressive rock band King Crimson.After six albums that ranged from good to very good, this is their first and only masterpiece to my taste. It is one of their heaviest albums (it even gets mentions as a prototype for the prog metal and math rock genres) and was highly influential to the later Grunge movement. The instrumental opener Red, Fallen Angel, and especially the closer Starless are outstanding tracks for me.
