Crime of the Century is the third studio album by the English rock band Supertramp. It was their commercial and artistic breakthrough, and the first of a string of albums that established them as a radio-friendly melodious progressive rock band (also known as progressive pop or prog lite). It contains two of their most famous songs,
School and the hit single
Dreamer, the title track is a personal favourite, but all tracks would not sound out of place at a classical rock radio station, and the album is rightly recognized as one of the better ones of the seventies.
