Selling England by the Pound is the fifth studio album by the English progressive rock band Genesis. It is widely regarded as one of the best prog albums ever - for me, this is a top 3 pop/rock album regardless of genre. With
Dancing With The Moonlit Knight,
Firth Of Fifth, and
The Cinema Show/Aisle Of Plenty it contains three of my all-time favourite songs - and that's already 30 minutes of music. The other songs are well worthwhile as well - except for Phil Collins' first singing effort
More Fool Me. Skipping that one (as I always do) one is still left with over 50 minutes of wonderful prog rock.
