For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night is the fifth studio album released by the Canterbury scene progressive rock band Caravan from the UK. The four albums they recorded in the early seventies (1970-1973) are all very worthwhile, culminating in this one, my favourite of the lot. The expected jazz influences are there, but mixed with solid rock, skillfully combined songs and original instrumentation. I'm not listing favourites, this albums should be listened to from start to finish.
