Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. In many ways, it is the final Beatles album, as the recording sessions were the last they did as a group. Like its predecessor, I added this album to the list at a later stage. I know for many it is the ultimate Beatles album, but I tend to prefer the 1966/1967 efforts. In the end though, I had to include it, as it contains George's two finest songs (Something and Here Comes The Sun), the bizarrely fascinating Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and an ingenious collage type suite of short songs on the B-side (from Sun King to Her Majesty).
