Beautiful Collision is the second solo album by New Zealand singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Bic Runga. It was released five years after her promising debut Drive, and it was worth the wait. Her crystal clear voice has matured, the songs are stronger, a prime example of wonderful melodious pop. It was a huge hit in New Zealand, but did not have much impact elsewhere. Rather surprising given the quality of her music. There's not a mediocre song on the album, my favourites include When I See You Smile, Something Good, Precious Things, Honest Goodbyes, She Left On A Monday, and Counting The Days.
