X&Y is the third studio album by the British alternative rock band Coldplay. Although it was widely anticipated and definitely a commercial success (selling over 13 million copies worldwide), several critics considered it inferior to the first two albums. I pretty much agree with that, but in the end it is still a solid and highly entertaining album that fully deserves its place in my list. Among the highlights are What If, Fix You, Talk, X&Y, A Message, The Hardest Start, and especially Speed Of Sound.
