Beautiful Garbage is the third studio album by American alternative rock band Garbage. Their first two albums were promising, but this one is really great. The influences (trip hop, electronics, shoegazing, indie rock) are still there, but here they are more consistently combined with great melodies and of course the wonderful singing by Shirley Manson. My picks of the album are Shut Your Mouth, Androgyny, Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go!), Parade, Nobody Loves You, and especially Drive You Home, and Cup Of Coffee, for me one of the songs of the century and the most beautiful break-up song ever.
