Bavarian Fruit Bread is the debut studio album of the duo Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions, consisting of Hope Sandoval (vocalist of Mazzy Star) and Colm Ó Cíosóig (drummer of My Bloody Valentine), with various guest musicians - on this album for instance famous folk musician Bert Jansch. Their music is dream pop, not too far away from the Mazzy Star sound - unsurprising given Hope's unique voice and delivery. My favourite tracks are Suzanne, Butterfly Mornings, Charlotte, Bavarian Fruit Bread, Around My Smile, and Lose Me On The Way.
