Drag is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter k.d. lang. It is an album of covers, all on the theme of smoking and other addictions. This is the first of just a few cover albums to make my list of favourite albums - even David Bowie could not get in. But this is a collection that fits together perfectly, the covers are often better than the originals, and in most cases taken in a completely different approach. Her singing is simply gorgeous as well. They all work so well in her version that it is difficult to point out personal favourites, but I definitely want to highlight her versions of Jane Siberry's Hain't It Funny?, and the Hollies' hit The Air That I Breathe.
