Hail to the Thief is the sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Radiohead. After the preceding highly experimental "double album" (Kid A and Amnesiac, released separately), they now tried to mix those electronics with the alternative rock of their nineties' successes. In hindsight, the band was not happy with the album ("We wanted to do things quickly, and I think the songs suffered"), but critics in general were quite positive. Personally I'd rank it below The Bends and OK Computer but above Kid A and Amnesiac. My favourite songs are Sit Down. Stand Up., Where I End And You BeginThe GloamingThere There, ScatterbrainA Wolf At The Door, and especially Sail To The Moon, their best song of this century for me.
