Eivør is the third studio album of Faroese singer-songwriter Eivør Pálsdóttir, known professionally as Eivør. In sharp contrast with its eclectic predecessor, this album is basically 100% folk pop, albeit with a twist. Not only is her voice as unique and haunting as ever, but she sings in English, Icelandic and Faroese, and is supported quite effectively by Canadian guitarist and singer Bill Bourne. This album takes you from the Nordic countries to the open spaces of North America and back. Some highlights for me are Við Gengum Tvö, Om Jag Vågar, Where Are The Angels, Mín Móðir, Veit Þú Kemur, Må Solen Alltid Skina, and Trøllabundin.
