Focus II (better known by its international title, Moving Waves) is the second studio album by Dutch progressive rock band Focus. Riding the unexpected international success of their hit single Hocus Pocus, they released a gem of mainly instrumental progressive rock, culminating in the 23-minute suite Eruption based on the opera Euridice by Jacopo Peri. Some of the other tracks are even more attractive, in particular Janis and Focus II - and the amazing miniature Le Clochard ("Bread"), a classical music inspired piece of Jan Akkerman's guitar backed by Thijs van Leer's mellotron strings.
